These books, written by autistic author Callum Knight and L.B. Arthur, feature vibrant pictures and teach about Daniel and his autism differences. They promote autism acceptance and understanding while highlighting Daniel's challenges.
There’s also a fun Spot the Difference and a colouring activity at the end.
The book is easy for dyslexic readers and is a fun read for autistic and non-autistic children.
Age depends on each individual child. Generally, it's suitable for children 4+ but a lot of our readers are autistic children who are much older and are looking for easy stories they can relate to.

Callum Knight, hailing from the picturesque Kent, UK, is all about raising autism awareness—starting with his debut memoir The Secrets of My Spectrum, which he impressively published at just 16. Why? To help kids like him and their parents, and to give the world a bit more insight into life on the spectrum.
The book idea was born during chats with his mum, who was deep in the trenches of her own fantasy novel at the time. Since then, the dynamic duo has teamed up on children’s picture books (two and counting), with Callum taking charge of formatting and making the books dyslexic-friendly—because why not make reading more accessible for everyone?
When Callum’s not writing, you’ll probably find him detailing cars (his ultimate zen activity). Social media may not be his natural habitat, but he’s genuinely grateful for all the love from readers and tries his best to keep up with messages. Right now, he’s busy crafting the sequel to The Secrets of My Spectrum—stay tuned!
Oh, and he’s incredibly thankful for all your support—it’s what keeps him going!

Meet L.B. Arthur, an author whose debut novel, Ariessy of Midgard, is practically dripping with Norse mythology, all thanks to a hearty Swedish heritage.
Having spent time in London’s emergency services and working with kids, Arthur conjures a world where magical beings gifted by Norse gods blend into society, sneaky as you please.
Arthur also moonlights as a children’s book co-author alongside Callum, raising awareness about autism and the real-life quests parents and kids go through.
When not penning tales of gods and creatures, Arthur can be found chilling with family or strolling Kent’s stunning coastlines, probably plotting the next chapter in life’s epic saga.
