Our Story: Where Family Meets Publishing
Frami Press grew from a personal mission. When Callum was just 16, he wrote The Secrets of My Spectrum to help others understand autism. He wanted full control, and self-publishing gave him that freedom. The book became a bestseller, which was a delightful surprise. Around the same time, I was writing my own fantasy novel. When the time came to publish, it made sense to put everything we'd learned into practice and self-publish that, too. Over the years, we discovered the importance of every step: editing, formatting, cover design, and distribution.
Callum honed his design skills with his own book, then formatted our children's autism books and, more recently, formatted and created the cover for his brother Ethan's book, The PDA Effect, which we're proud to say also became a bestseller.
These successes ignited a new passion: helping other authors create professional, polished books, without surrendering their control or rights.
