Welcome to Frami Books

Our Story

Frami Books is an independent publishing imprint proudly run by author and designer Callum Knight. What started as a self-publishing journey in 2019 quickly evolved into something much larger.

Callum's debut memoir, The Secrets of My Spectrum, chronicles his life as an autistic child and teenager. During the lockdown, it became an unexpected Amazon bestseller, resonating with readers across the UK and beyond.

Encouraged by parents who appreciated his storytelling, Callum released his first children's books, On the Bus and Fireworks Night co-authored by his mum, LB Arthur, in 2024, designed especially for young readers eager to explore imagination and empathy. Along with Arthur's fantasy title Ariessy of Midgard.

This year, he published The PDA Effect, authored by his brother, to illuminate the challenges of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and help families, educators, and neurodivergent individuals better understand this often-misunderstood profile within the autism spectrum.

Callum released his follow-up memoir, More Secrets of My Spectrum: Autism into Adulthood, in December 2025.

At Frami Books, every title reflects a labour of love. Callum personally designs the internal layout that brings each cover to life.

He packs every FRAMI BOOKS order by hand and posts it directly to you.
